High FSH & DOR Wellness Guide: Foods, Acupressure, Red Light, Teas & Supplements
Foods, Points, Red Light, Teas & Supplements
Focus: Nourish Kidney Yin and Jing, protect egg quality, ease empty heat from high FSH, and support a calmer hormonal terrain. This is a general wellness map—not a one-size protocol. Pattern matters.
Foods to Eat
- Warm, cooked, easy meals: congee (rice or millet), bone broths, soft stews, slow-cooked soups
- Yin- and Jing-nourishing foods: black sesame seed paste, snow fungus (tremella), goji berries, black beans, walnuts, bone marrow, soft eggs, bone broth
- Black sesame seed paste: daily on congee, warm oatmeal, or stirred into warm milk or plant milk. Supports Kidney Yin, hair, marrow, and essence.
- Moistening fruits (room temperature or gently warmed): pears, mulberries, cooked apples, a few goji
- Healthy fats for hormone building: avocado, olive oil, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, egg yolks
- Light proteins: soft-cooked eggs, fish, chicken, lentils in small warm portions
- Gentle spices only: a little ginger or cinnamon if you run cold—not drying chili heat
Foods to Limit or Avoid
- Ice water, smoothies, large raw salads, and cold leftovers straight from the fridge
- Excess coffee, energy drinks, and alcohol (dry Jing and raise empty heat)
- Sugar, fried food, and ultra-processed snacks
- Very spicy or greasy meals that flare internal heat
- If you bloat easily, cannot lose weight, or feel heavy and puffy: limit sticky dairy, wheat, ice cream, juice, and rich Yin tonics until a practitioner checks for dampness
Teas
- Snow fungus tea with a few goji or red dates — moisture and Yin without being a heavy herb
- Chrysanthemum or rose tea if the face feels hot, eyes dry, or sleep is restless
- Mild ginger tea only if hands and feet are cold and digestion is sluggish
Self-Acupressure Points
Use firm, steady pressure or an acupressure clip—do not self-needle. Hold 1–3 minutes per point, breathe slowly. Skip SP-6 if pregnancy is possible. Book with Juan for a full point map.
- KI-3 Taixi (inner ankle, in the hollow behind the ankle bone) — root Kidney Yin
- KI-6 Zhaohai (below the inner ankle) — Yin, sleep, empty heat
- BL-23 Shenshu (lower back, beside the spine at waist level) — Kidney / Jing
- CV-4 Guanyuan and CV-6 Qihai (lower abdomen, midline below the navel) — Yuan Qi
- Zigong (about 4 finger-widths from midline, level with CV-3) — local ovarian support
- SP-6 Sanyinjiao (inner calf, about 4 finger-widths above the ankle bone) — three Yin meeting
- ST-36 Zusanli (outer leg below the knee) — digestion so Jing can rebuild
Supplements
- ZOR Pure Shilajit: Supports vitality, minerals, and gentle Yang so Yin work does not leave you flat. Many women with DOR use it for stamina and recovery. Start low. Consistency matters more than a large dose.
- CoQ10: Often used for egg-quality and mitochondrial support in DOR / poor-responder patterns. Choose a form and dose with your practitioner; it is generally better taken with fat.
- Vitamin E: A fat-soluble antioxidant sometimes used for circulation, lining comfort, and oxidative stress around the ovaries. Helpful for some; not a stand-alone fix. Confirm it fits your labs and any blood-thinning situation.
- DHEA (optional, practitioner-guided only): Sometimes used in selected poor responders. It can raise androgens and internal heat. Do not start from a social-media dose. Test first. Use 20% Discount Code. abienergy22
- Black sesame seed paste: Daily food-as-medicine for Kidney Yin, marrow, and hair. Warm, not ice-cold.
- Vitamin D — keep levels tested and in an optimal range. Use 10% Discount Code. abienergy
Red Light Therapy
Red and near-infrared light is a mitochondrial tool. For DOR and high FSH the goal is better cellular energy in ovaries, pelvis, and thyroid-adjacent tissue—not a harsh heat treatment.
- Supports ATP / mitochondrial output in cells that are running low (egg quality conversations often start here)
- May improve local circulation and tissue warmth in the lower abdomen
- Used for skin repair, collagen, and recovery—useful when empty heat has left the face and hair dry
- Can ease muscle and pelvic tightness so Qi moves instead of stalling
- Keep sessions consistent and moderate; more minutes is not always better. Protect the eyes. Do not use over suspicious skin lesions. Pause and ask your doctor if you are in an active IVF stim cycle or have a photosensitivity condition.
Device: Midwest Red Light Therapy — Game Changer (660 nm red + 850 nm near-infrared). Use code abie at checkout.
TCM Formula
A classic Kidney Yin / Jing formula used when the picture is dryness, empty heat, high FSH with a thin or cracked tongue, night sweats, and low reserve—not when the body is damp.
Kan Herbals Quiet Contemplative (Liu Wei Di Huang Wan base with extra Yin-essence herbs).
Do not take this formula if you are overweight, cannot lose weight, or live with a lot of bloat.
Those signs often point to dampness. Rich Yin tonics can make dampness heavier. The formula is not a fit for that pattern.
Best to book a session with Juan so the formula matches your tongue, cycle, and body type—especially before ordering any TCM patent.
Work with Juan
This guide is a starting map. High FSH and DOR still need a live pattern read (tongue, cycle, lining, digestion, damp vs. dry).
Offer: Purchase three ZOR Pure Shilajit and receive free shipping plus a free session with Juan, valued at $111.
If you bloat, hold weight, or feel damp, skip the Yin formula for now and book the session first. That visit is the safer door.
Notes
Warm meals, sleep, and consistency rebuild more than stacking ten new bottles. If heat rises (acne, agitation, racing at night), pause extra Yang or DHEA and get a session.
Medical Disclaimer
This is general wellness information only, not medical advice. Always consult your doctor or licensed practitioner before starting any supplements, herbs, hormones, light therapy, acupressure, or dietary changes—especially with DOR, high FSH, perimenopause, or fertility treatment. Individual needs vary. Results are not guaranteed. TCM formulas must match the pattern; dampness and Yin deficiency are treated differently.
